Other menu items include a variety of crepes, salads, chicken soup and veal ragout soup, seafood and ethnic specialties such as Vienna schnitzel, bela vesalica or grilled pork loin, and cevapi, which are grilled beef links stuffed in homemade bread with kajmak and onion.
“What I love about the place is everything is made from scratch, and they don’t cheat you on the portions,” said Clay Tomasek of Riverside, who has become a regular after being told about it by a friend.
Tomasek said he particularly enjoys the lamb plate, which is a special on Saturdays, and recommends the gypsy platter for meat lovers because it includes a variety of meats.
